I've always been a big fan of Ancient Artifacts, ever since I left school and got a life of my own I was everywhere. You should see my house, there's Roman Helmets over here and Egyptian Runes over there. This story is set in Liverpool, and yes it is real, it is very real my friends.
It was the day of the big boot sale. Yeah, the city had a boot sale nearly enough every day but this time it was different. Today you got the best, and for a cheap price too, last year I managed to grab a fine piece of Egyptian Jewellry, and for only £200. Usually you had to buy thousands for a rare item like that. I could have sold it, but I couldn't, it was the best artifact I had collected, that is until today.
I was speeding down the motorway, excited for what I was going to find, I took a turn and pushed my feet hard down on the brakes, it was packed. I parked up quickly, jumped out and took off to check out the stalls.
Stall 1, nothing, a pile of junk, I picked up a small box and opened it up, it was full of ancient coins, I looked up and the seller was watching me like a hawk. I put the box down and carried on.
Stall 2, another pile of coins, that's when I saw it, at the top of the stall was a real Victorian Bonnet, I picked it up, made sure it was actually real, there's been plenty of times where I've been ripped off.
The seller knew my decision as soon as I cast my eyes on him "£50 and it yours" he said quickly smiling.
A great deal, this maybe the best he'd ever got "are you sure?" I asked looking shocked.
The man put his hand closer "Yes, yes. £50 and it is yours, I don't want it anymore, I can't take it" he cried.
I paid quickly before the seller got more upset, I don't get why he got upset, it was a Victorion Bonnet, who wouldn't want such treasure, it's not like it is cursed or anything
----
I was home, another great year. I managed to get the bonnet for a great price and also got my hands on a old music box for a fair price of £100. I laid down them both on the table and started to make some food before going to sleep, I was halfway through cooking when I got the shock of my life, a horrible scream burst through my house, at first I thought it was the children around the neighbourhood but it was too late for them to be roaming around the streets. Anyway, the scream sounded strange, like it was old, really old.
I stepped out of the kitchen and froze in shock, I dropped the knife I was holding that missed my foot by a few centimetres. My eyes froze on the Victorian Bonnet but it wasn't only the bonnet that was there, there was something else, someone was wearing it. Not a person, itself, just a head. It was on my table, a real head and it was strangely moving.
I moved forward getting closer and closer viewing the head thinking it was some sort of silly prank, I was so close now, I put my hand out to touch the head. Bad idea, my hand was a few centimetres to connecting when the eyes opened, those dark red eyes staring at me, and then it had me, next thing I know I'm falling, falling to my death below, then it was over.
Luckily God gives you one wish upon entering Heaven, my wish was to let people know about this bonnet, he allowed me to let the world know my story, but it's still out there, in the streets of Liverpool, so if you catch sight of a strange looking bonnet, don't get to close and definitely do not touch it.
